About

We build the tools that keep
people safer at home.

OmaScan AI is built by a team of Canadian engineers, working alongside occupational therapists and clinicians in Canada, Australia, the UK and the United States.

Why we built this

Many of us grew up volunteering in long-term care homes and caring for family members with accessibility challenges. We kept seeing the same thing:

Too many people lose their independence at home because the assessment process can't keep up with the need.

We founded OmaScan to change that.

Where the name comes from

OmaScan comes from Oma: grandmother.

This project is dedicated to our grandmothers and grandfathers, who deserve dignity, safety and independence as they age.
